Bonnie Easterly-Spencer is the founding principal of The Spencer Law Firm and one of Houston's most accomplished business, securities, and litigation attorneys, with 45 years of active practice dating to her admission to the Texas State Bar in November 1980.

A triple-degree graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans, earning her J.D., M.B.A., and B.B.A. (Magna Cum Laude, Class Rank 6th) simultaneously in 1980, Bonnie brings an exceptionally rare combination of legal acumen and financial expertise to every matter she handles. Thomas “Blake” Robson is an Associate Attorney at The Spencer Law Firm whose practice focuses on business litigation, commercial disputes, real estate litigation, and contract-related matters. Mr. Robson brings a practical and litigation-focused approach to complex legal disputes, with experience spanning commercial lease conflicts, real property disputes, contract enforcement, and Texas civil litigation.

Mr. Robson represents businesses, property owners, and individuals in matters involving commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and contract conflicts. His work includes drafting and revising pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda, as well as conducting detailed legal research and factual analysis to support litigation strategy and case development.

Before joining The Spencer Law Firm, Mr. Robson worked with several Houston firms handling real estate and commercial litigation matters, where he gained hands-on experience in active litigation involving Texas property law, commercial disputes, and business-related claims. His legal background includes work on matters involving commercial lease disputes, property-tax-related issues, contract conflicts, and broader real estate litigation in Texas courts.

Mr. Robson also served with the City of Houston Legal Department in the Real Estate Division, where he worked on municipal real estate matters, drafted easements and deed restrictions, and conducted legal analysis involving land use, planning, and regulatory issues affecting public and private property interests.
​
During law school, Mr. Robson was selected for South Texas College of Law Houston’s Transactional Practice Certification Program, where he graduated in the top 5% of his transactional law class. He also served in the school’s Landlord-Tenant Clinic, where he represented low-income tenants in eviction proceedings and gained firsthand courtroom experience handling contested housing matters in Texas Justice Courts.

Steve Stewart has represented businesses and individuals throughout Texas for over 40 years. His practice is focused primarily on complex business litigation, commercial disputes and energy transactions and litigation.
Steve’s litigation experience is broad and has included representation of national and local banks, commercial and residential real estate developers, energy companies and royalty owners, securities brokerage houses, commercial and residential landlords and tenants, among others. His versatility and tenacity as a trial lawyer has been demonstrated by his having obtained a multimillion dollar verdict for his client in the longest civil jury trial in Bexar County history—lasting over nine months. He is recognized for his work by his peers and publications alike and has been featured in Texas Architect on several occasions. He is also a thought leader in emerging oil and gas and construction law issues, having taught multiple CLE courses throughout his career.
Steve has effectively represented clients in a variety of energy disputes such as: lease access, surface use and damage claims, joint operating agreement disputes, operator and working interest disputes, royalty owner disputes, drilling contracts, mechanic’s and materialmen’s lien claims, COPAS accounting issues, ground and water contamination claims, surface and subsurface trespass claims, purchase and sale agreements, and farmout agreements.
